Fillings

When decay or damage leaves a cavity, a filling restores the tooth’s shape and strength. At Almona we place carefully matched fillings and, where a tooth needs more reinforcement after root canal or heavy loss of structure, we can use a fibre post filling for added stability.

What to expect

• Examination and, if needed, an X-ray (IOPA)
• Removal of decayed or damaged tissue
• Placement of a well-sealed filling
• Fibre post support when the tooth requires it
